Jump into the world of dance with Waterdown Dancers Inc.’s recreational program. Perfect for all ages and levels, we offer a variety of classes to fit everyone.
Our season runs from September – June and is packed with two dance shows, monthly special events and continuous learning. We begin the season by taking it back to the basics, reintroducing our bodies to stretching and movement. Dancers will learn and continue to work on the foundations and fundamentals of dance while also adding new skills and technique training throughout the season.
In November, we begin preparations for our Holiday Spectacular, a fun performance sampler hosted at Waterdown District High School to give our recreational dancers a taste of the stage before our big recital at the end of June.
After a brief winter break, we are back in January, and recital prep begins. Recital routines are being started, costumes are being ordered, and the excitement grows!
** Note: Any dancer registered in our recreational program will be part of our Holiday Show as well as our Year-End Recital. Families must opt out of each performance via email before the drop deadline (an email will be sent out)
